Most dogs absolutely love going to the dog park. It’s a place of happiness, playtime, joy, and friends! However, for two Huskies named Jayda and Layla, their trip to the dog park ended up in heartbreak. Mona Ahmed, the manager of Woodward Dog Park in Fresno, California, received a phone call recently; a woman explained to her that she had found two Huskies at the local dog park. At first, Ahmed didn’t think much of it.
Initially, Ahmed didn’t get to worked up over the two dogs; she assumed that their owner would be back at any moment to pick them up. However, the woman on the phone further explained that the dogs had been left with a box. Inside the box were the dogs’ toys, their food, their bowls, and lastly — a note. “Our names are Jada (black) and Layla (brown),” the note said. “We are nice 1-year-old dogs. Please don’t split us up. Layla gets scared without her sister.”
After hearing the words written on the note, Ahmed immediately got in her car and rushed to the dog park. When she arrived, she saw Layla and Jayda wandering around the park — confused and wondering where their owner went.
